Dobby's Signature

Blueberry soya milk smoothie

Recently, i’ve been following my younger brother’s fitfam and body building journey especially when it comes to things he takes before and after workouts. Most of his diet comprises of shakes, smoothies, carbs and high protein meals. One of his favorite is the blueberry soy milk smoothie. This is a delicious healthy smoothie you can take in the morning. it’s packed with nourishing vitamins your body needs for a great start.

Blueberries are succulent, sweet, full of nutrients, as well as tasty when eaten fresh and as you know quite well, Soya is the best form of non-animal protein. When soya is combined with blueberries, it makes an even healthier drink. While soya beans is a rich protein source, blueberries are rich in lots of vitamins and minerals which helps to protect the body. All you need is a blender and you’re good to go.

How to make Blueberry soya milk smoothie
• Prep time:
3 mins
• Cook time: Nil
• Total time: 3 mins
• Serves:      1

Ingredients:::
• 1 cup blueberries, Frozen or fresh
• 1 cup

Soya milk

, Chilled

• ½ lemon juice – optional
Preparation:::

Step 1: Blend all ingredients in a blender until frothy, making sure you scrape down the sides of the blender with a spatula or spoon. Serve immediately!

Kitchen notes: If you make this the evening before and leave it in the fridge overnight, the blueberries will swell and you will have a mousse-like pudding instead. You’d need a spoon for that instead of a straw.
