Dhow Cruise Buffet Dinner At Dubai Marina

Are you going to be in Dubai soon? Then, you need to do some culinary explorations. One good place to start is by going on a Dhow cruise. In this episode of foodie waka, i will like to share my Dhow Cruise Experience here in Dubai.

Now the Dhow cruise is simply a floating wooden boat restaurant which cruises on the Dubai creek or marina . There are two types of Dhow cruises. The first is in the Creek and the other is in the Marina area. In terms of facilities both are same and the only difference between the two is the view.

You can also choose from various cruise organizers and they can organize a different boat too depending on the amount you are willing to pay. There’s another cruise known as the Address cruise at the marina which is more expensive but it’s a more exclusive kind of cruise which offers a luxury experience. It’s quite different from the Dhow cruise and a lot more expensive.

The menu is also different and doesn’t include Indian food. You could also book a private yacht for you and your guests for about 300 Dirhams (Add two zeros in front and you get the actual price in naira which is 30,000k) for a very small yacht which accommodates 5 or 6 guests.  While sailing, you get to see the spectacular well lit up parts of Dubai at night. It includes a buffet dinner and an in-house Tanoura dance show.

This particular cruise started with drinks being served and the Tanoura dancer giving a show. After that, we got to serve ourselves from the variety of meals on the menu. Please forgive my ignorant plating, i just wanted to eat…lol!
