Fresh mango juice

I’ve had Store bought mango juice lots of times but i must confess, none of them tastes as good as the homemade organic mango juice. In Nigeria, April-May is the season of mangoes and also, the temperature during this period is usually really really hot. One good way to refresh your body as well as quench the thirst is by taking natural fruit juices such as this nutritious beverage.
One can buy different varieties of mangoes in this season. i’m a huge fan of mangoes and my favorite variety is the cherry mango(Yellow), next to the German mango (Green). I try to avoid fibrous mangoes (the types that stick to the teeth) as much as possible. Mango is Rich in vitamin C, potassium, niacin and vitamin A (beta carotene) and also good source of fiber.


How to make Fresh mango juice
Prep Time:

Cook time: Nil
Makes:       2 cups


Ingredients:::
• 2 ripe mangoes (i used cherry mangoes) 
• ¼ tbsp Sugar/Honey (optional)
• Iced water (As desired)

Method:::
Step 1: Peel the mango skin and chop the flesh leaving the seed out


Step 2: Place the chopped flesh into a blender, add the Iced water (depending on the desired amount of thickness you need) & Sugar/Honey. Blend till smooth and creamy.

Step 3: Serve chilled.
