Lately, i’ve been gravitating towards smoothies especially for breakfast and i feel it’s probably because they’re quite filling and satisfying. Fura da nunu nut smoothie makes a delicious, healthy breakfast or afternoon snack especially for better living. Yogurt is nutritionally rich in protein, calcium, vitamin D, riboflavin, vitamin B6, and vitamin B12. It has nutritional benefits beyond those of milk. It also contains varying amounts of fat so if you’re on a weight loss program it’d be advisable to use yogurt which contains less fat. Cashew and peanuts on the other hand are packed with protein, fibre, essential fats and a whole lot more while millet contained in this drink is rich in protein and high in fiber. If you aren’t familiar with what a smoothie is, it’s a blended and sometimes sweetened beverage made from fresh fruit, vegetables and sometimes chocolate, peanut butter, milk, yogurt, low fat or cottage cheese, ice cream, lemon water or tea. It’s similar to milkshake but has a thicker consistency. If you’re trying to lose weight, it’s not advisable to take this drink regularly. Although smoothies are mostly vegetable based, they could also be prepared with other ingredients as shown here.

Step 1: Combine the Nunu (Fresh yogurt), fura, peanut butter and cashew nut butter in a blender.
Step 2: Cover the blender and blend everything together till smooth for about 2-3mins. Serve chilled!
