Agbalumo, as it’s known in the west or Udala in the east, might be just fruit to most but have you ever tried turning it into a drink? After making it into a drink, I kept wondering why don’t we have this anywhere 🤔. I mean….this is a gold mine waiting to be explored 💣. Ever since the first day I made it for my family it has been at the top of the list of popular drinks. Ingredients you’ll need to make Honey-sweet Agbalumo / Udala drink ;

African Star Apple (Agbalumo / Udala),  Honey (Or any sweetener) & Water

Directions:::

Step 1: Peel off the Agbalumo/ Udala skin and separate the seeds from the flesh.

Step 2: Place the flesh in a blender. Add honey and water, cover the blender and blend till you get a smooth puree

Step 3: Pour the blend through a sieve and strain. Once you’re done straining, chill in the refrigerator. The pulp remnant within the sieve can also be eaten or converted to chewing gum instead of discarding.
