How to make pineapple Tea, Nutrition, Health Benefits, Uses

Pineapple peel tea is an easy, zero-waste drink made from pineapple skins that are often thrown away. When boiled, the peels release nutrients, enzymes, and antioxidants that support digestion, immunity, and overall wellness. It’s refreshing, slightly sweet, and can be enjoyed hot or cold.

Ingredients :::

  • Peels from 1 ripe pineapple
  • 4–5 cups water
  • 1 teaspoon ginger (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon cloves
  • Honey or lemon (optional, for taste)

Directions :::

Step 1: Wash the pineapple thoroughly before peeling to remove dirt or chemicals. Place the pineapple peels in a pot.

Step 2: Add water and optional ginger or cloves. Boil for 15–20 minutes. Strain the liquid into a cup.

Step 3: Sweeten with honey or add lemon if desired. Drink hot or allow it to cool and refrigerate.
