How to make Pizza dough
Learning to make pizza dough is a pre-requisite to making pizza. The key to getting the perfect pizza has alot to do with the crust which could be either thick or thin. This recipe below is enough to make three 10-inch pizzas.
Ingredients
- • 2 cups all-purpose flour
- • 1 tsp. yeast
- • 1 tsp. sugar
- • 1 tsp. salt
- • 1 tbsp. olive/vegetable oil
- • ½ cup warm water
Instructions
Step 1: In an empty bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, sugar, yeast and salt
Step 2: Mix the oil with the water and gently add into the bowl and mix into a non-sticky dough. If the dough is sticky, add some more flour
Step 3: Flour a smooth flat surface and place the dough on it. Knead thoroughly into a smooth firm ball
Step 4: Place the kneaded dough back into the bowl and cover with a clean moist kitchen towel. Leave to stand and rise for 20 mins. Knead once more and you're ready to make your pizza.
