Looking for a quick biscuit snack to munch on at school, at work or even at a party? Look no further. A dear friend of mine who makes the best chocolate chip cookies ever once said and i quote “If you can’t get it, make it”. This was in response to how she started making this tasty yummies for sale. She has a thriving confectionery business which she started years ago and i must say it’s really impressive.
One of her products which i really love is this tasty cookie. She’s got a wide range from giant chocolate chip cookies to sizable bite size ones. Now some of the ingredients used in making chocolate chip cookies such as chocolate chips can be made from scratch by melting chocolate and piping drops of the melted chocolate on a clean surface. once you refrigerate, it hardens and you’ve got your homemade chocolate chips. You could also roughly crush a bar of chocolate and use also. Without further ado, here’s how it’s made.

I made these with your recipe. They were delicious. Actually, my baby brother said "very delicious".
How do I make the chocolate chips itself is it from Milo or cocoa beverages? Thanks
Thanks jose 🙂
You're welcome Chioma 🙂
Technically, you can't. You can make it from melted chocolate though.
Thanks for the feedback Unknown 🙂
Hi Anon, i've put up a link to the solution in step 1 above. Do check it out and thank me later 😉
Hi Dear, kudos to U! Your recipes are amazing.I noticed there is no baking powder or baking soda.
Thanks Stephany. Baking powder would make it rise and also turn it into soft cake instead of biscuit 🙂
Thank you for this recipe. Kindly state the brand of chocolate to use in making the chocolate chips. Thanks
Mondelez products are great.
Hello Dobby, please where can I get chicialare chips as the ones I see in the market are usually not nice. Btw, I stay in Abuja. Please connect me to any vendor whether online or not. Thanks
Do you mean chocolate chips? You can get it from large malls or supermarkets or better still, you can simply make it at home. All you need to do is melt chocolate and let let drops of it dry.
Just ask for chocolate chips in any supermarket, store or baking item store. This is good!!
If i dont have butter is margerine also okay to use?
Yes but it won't taste the same
