The Fiesta of Flavours 2016 was indeed a feast of food, hosting different delicacies from continental to oriental and even local street food. It was not just a feast of food and recipes but one of glamour and celebration as families, friends, celebrities and prominent personalities were all present to share in the joy and a great start to yuletide celebrations.
Fiesta of Flavour spiced up the city of Lagos with delicious experiences on the 11th and 12th of December 2016, filled with different cuisines by top chefs and vendors in the food industry. Adults and Kids had fun playing exciting games at the fair-such fun activities include; engaging chess competition, virtual reality and dance games, eating competitions and much more.
The Chef’s corner displayed creative and innovative demo classes, an array of food tasting and live cooking competitions. It was a celebration of Nigerian originality as indigenous cuisines, drinks and culture were displayed by vendors.
The kids were not left out in the culinary activities as they engaged in their segment of cooking competitions and classes, the kids’ corner entailed lots of fun activities. Fiesta of Flavours reminded everyone of the value of healthy living through incredibly fun and engaging dancercise moments.
FirstBank has constantly displayed its support for SMEs, being the First to understand the importance of the agriculture value chain. The event was put together to support SMEs and make their journey easier, giving them an avenue to showcase their brands and services to the food loving community which in turn creates growth and development for SMEs in Nigeria as food is the new oil.
