It’s no secret that i’m a real food junkie. I love searching for inspiration and trying out new experiences. Yesterday, i went to shop for camera gear at Ikeja with my very good friend and photographer Dolapo of @doa4tografi. After the tiring market waka under the Hot scorching sun, we decided to stop at Kobi’s restaurant on our way back home to have lunch and also relax a bit.
The restaurant which is located at 8/19 Kudirat Abiola way, Oregun, Ikeja Lagos is one you’re sure not to miss. it’s situated along the roadside, very close to Christ Embassy church.
The first thing you’d notice upon walking in is the cool and serene atmosphere. The Interior is elegant with a softly spoken color scheme of grey, red, green and brown which gave the whole place a very comfortable feel. There are also customized pictures on the walls to uphold the Family friendly theme not to forget the cool music which plays all through at the background to back it up. Also, they’ve got free Wifi which is a major plus for me. From the look of the place, it’s very obvious the owner spared no expense in making it look really inviting and comfortable.
The restaurant is known best for its range of dishes, sandwiches, snacks, desserts and the reputation is well deserved. The range of mouth watering food on the menu actually got us confused at some point. Finally, we decided to go for the Kara burger, paella rice, kobi’s chicken, Brioche and fish fillet because these kept coming up on the advert screen beside where we stood. We ate with relish and even had to get extra packs to take home.
Kara burger |
Fish fillet with Hake Batter |
To sum up everything, The Kara burger cost N500, Paella rice with prawn cost N800, Kobis roasted chicken cost N750 , Brioche cost N300 and finally the Fish fillet with Hake batter cost N500.
All-in-all, Kobi’s restaurant is a really nice place to be and very affordable too. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone so if you’re in or around ikeja axis, don’t fail to stop by. You can also place your order by calling the numbers below for Home or office delivery.
