Mango season has been really wonderful this year. This is because, not only have i been able to enjoy the tasty fruit, i’ve also been able to try out new mango recipes.
It’s filling and refreshing. Not only is it a coolant for the hot weather, it is also filled with nourishing benefits. Any type of sweet mango variety such as cherry and German mango is suitable for this healthy fruit drink. Mango is Rich in vitamin C, potassium, niacin and vitamin A (beta carotene) and also good source of fiber. Since i’ve got a sweet tooth, i usually add vanilla flavor or ice cream and sometimes sugar if i don’t have ice cream but to keep it as natural as possible, you could do without those extra additions ;).
How to make Mango Milkshake
Prep Time: 10 mins
Cook time: Nil
Step 1: Peel the mango skin and slice the flesh leaving the seed out
Step 2: Place the sliced flesh into a blender, add the milk, ice-cream and blend till smooth and creamy
Step 3: Refrigerate and serve chilled.
