So i’ve lived in this little town all my life. I call the town little because practically everybody knows everybody.
When i do shop for fresh cooking items i.e fruits & vegetables, i do it at the local market known as “Agboju market” located within Amuwo Odofin LGA especially since most of the things i need often could be found there. To me, its like a large outdoor mall where you could get every service you need in one space. Overtime, i’ve been getting lots of mails asking where to get certain fruits and vegetables which are scarce to find here in Nigeria Such as Mint leaves(peppermint leaves), Strawberries, Leek, Cinnamon, Blackberries e.t.c. Due to the amount of requests, i decided to do a little street foodie waka to show you some of the foreign vegetables mentioned and where i get mine.
The first stop i made was to Alhaji Sanni & Alhaji ibrahim’s vegetable Kiosk. They both sell Vegetables (Indigenous and foreign) and they’ve been doing it for over 15 years. So, if you need Vegetables, Herbs (mint leaves a.k.a Naa Na(arabic) included ) e.t.c, You can call to know what’s available or to Order.

Aahh,D fair alhaji was my customer in festac before I relocated,awww.old age is gradually settin in.very nyc man,he gives cabbage and other veggies,more dan d money u give him.aww.nyc dobbys.keep it up.
Most of the fruits look strange, I have never seen them before but will try buying them.

D fruit lady' s prices r so high. A pack of strawberries retail for 1k whereas u gt bigger sized ones in shoprite for 600 naira. Bt to b honest wen I saw her stock I was impressed
