Yams! You either hate them or love them. One food staple we don’t lack here in Nigeria is definitely yam tubers. I mean, you could find yams being sold in every nook and cranny of the country and at very affordable prices too. With an abundance of yam comes an amazing array of yam recipes too here at Dobby’s signature. One of such recipes is the Stuffed yam balls. Stuffed yam balls is a tasty snack that has made it’s way to our very own naija kitchen. Just one look at it would definitely get you drooling. These portable hand held stuffed yam balls would make a terrific side dish or appetizer in the small chops section of parties. You could also fill it up with just about anything such as minced/ground beef or chicken, bell peppers, fresh shrimp, fish, sweet corn, spring onions, carrots, peas e.t.c….the choice is yours.

That's a tasty snack. How many calories per ball would you say we're talking about? I think at least 250 calories in my best guess. Delicious but hard on the diet.
DEFINITELY TRYING THIS OUT. THANKS
wow!!!!
With the pictures, it looks easy to make. Will try this.

It luks gud nd appetizing wil gv it a try.
Dobby well done. U and matse are doing great ketchen job, putting smiles into the face of many while eating. Thanks for sharing your talent
You are really talented Dobby! Where in the world did you learn how to make these? Wow! Will definitely try it soon.
I cnt wait for sat to try dis out
I will definitely try this. My children don't like conventional yam dishes.
Wowww!!! Take it easy Mr Adela…250 calories per ball is definitely too much :). According to research, 1 milk cup of pounded yam contains 400 calories so each ball is probably far less than 250 calories (okay maybe i'm trying to overlook the oil used in frying).

Great recipe Dobby! Can the yam balls be deep fried in a deep fryer? Or should we fry it in the same amount of oil as we will for puff puff?
