Whoever thought there’d be food in the desert? Eating in the desert is fun. What’s even more fun are the wide range of activities that happens in the desert.
Now the whole idea of the desert safari is to show how the nomadic Arab people who have historically inhabited the desert regions lived in the past. Territory stretches from the vast deserts of North Africa, Arabian Peninsula, Iraq to the rocky sands of the Middle East .
Now even though most of the people have abandoned their nomadic lifestyle and traditions for a modern urban lifestyle, many retain the traditional culture such as dances (Belly dancing, Tanoura dancing, Sas, Fire dancing), music , camel riding, camping in the deserts and food. These days, they have all these as leisure activities which makes it a tourist attraction.
For me, i enjoyed most parts of the tour but as a foodie, i enjoyed the food more. Some of the meals on the menu includes;
Starters such as;
- Coffee & Dates( Arabian Coffee & Normal Coffee)
