Emirates Economy Class Menu Review – Lagos to Dubai

Hi Guys! On foodie waka today, i want to share my flight experience on Emirates Economy class during my recent trip to Dubai. We flew from Lagos to Dubai and the last flight was operated in the Boeing 777. In general, i really love flying Emirates because it’s one of the best airlines in the world and also one of the classiest in terms of hospitality and comfort.

When it comes to flying, one of the major factors that plays a role in determining what airline to use for most is definitely the in-flight catering. I literally dream about it long before the actual flight. I’ve been to a few catering companies and i can say for sure that the level of quality control that goes into preparing meals for people from different nationalities and works of life is not child’s play. Lots of things are usually put into consideration when preparing such meals. So whenever i see specialized catering like In-flight catering, i’m usually fascinated because i know the level of work involved in the production of such meals. For Emirates, i do know for certain that they have their own independent catering company known as the Emirates Flight Catering located in Diera, Dubai which is a huge huge huge industry on it’s own. They’ve got chefs from different nationalities and works of life who bring these meals to reality.

The Hospitality starts with the lovely smiles from the flight attendants while they hand out the blankets and earphones,  the on board entertainment throughout the flight as well as the food. To be frank, the food is the major part of the journey that gets me really excited after all , i’m a full time foodie .

The Menu consists of a three course meal with beverages and added snacks served just before landing. Since we flew at night, the meal served was a three course dinner and snacks.
