Learning to make pizza dough is a pre-requisite to making pizza. The key to getting the perfect pizza has a lot to do with the crust which could be either thick or thin. This recipe below is enough to make three 10-inch pizzas. The dough can also be stored in the refrigerator prior to the time you intend using it. When you are ready to make your pizza, you can now bring the dough out of the refrigerator and let it warm up a bit while you prepare the toppings. And yes, you can make pizzas without an oven using this method HERE or Teflon pan method HERE

Learning to make pizza dough is a pre-requisite to making pizza. The key to getting the perfect pizza has alot to do with the crust which could be either thick or thin. This recipe below is enough to make three 10-inch pizzas.
Ingredients
- • 2 cups all-purpose flour
- • 1 tsp. yeast
- • 1 tsp. sugar
- • 1 tsp. salt
- • 1 tbsp. olive/vegetable oil
- • ½ cup warm water
Instructions
Step 1: In an empty bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, sugar, yeast and salt
Step 2: Mix the oil with the water and gently add into the bowl and mix into a non-sticky dough. If the dough is sticky, add some more flour
Step 3: Flour a smooth flat surface and place the dough on it. Knead thoroughly into a smooth firm ball
Step 4: Place the kneaded dough back into the bowl and cover with a clean moist kitchen towel. Leave to stand and rise for 20 mins. Knead once more and you're ready to make your pizza.

Hi, Dobby, please, what is the difference between this pizza dough and the one for chinchin?

Good day dobby, how is your day going, I saw a post on how to use pot 2 bake and I tried it out to bake cake but the cake smell smoke when eating. I don't know why, please can you help on that? Thanks.
Did you use a stove on high heat i.e yellow flame? The cake probably got burnt. When baking with a pot and stove/gas, it's best to reduce the flame to the lowest. it should have a blue flame. That way, your cake would come out perfect.
i made this for my daughter. and believe me i ate more than half of it and she gave a frown ; i had to quickly bake another for her and my hubby(he asked for leftover 4 breakfast.imagine) even for a neighbor across the street to show off.it has been a staple since then.thank you so so very much.

Hello dobby, love ur recipes.please can I use soft whole wheat flour or is it the same as all purpose flour.I would like to try this recipe. Thanks a lot.
hi Anon,Soft whole wheat flour is mainly used as "Swallow" while the Hard red winter wheat is what is generally known as all purpose flour used in baking…They are not the same. Soft whole wheat has lower protein, lower carbohydrate but high in fiber than the hard red winter wheat.

Dobby dear, can I use dark oven tray for pizza?
Hi Mrs confidence, yes you can. You could also use the lid of an iron pot to place the pizza as an alternative.
