?I finally got my hands on ’em and I made one of the cravings I had been longing to eat for some years now. The first time I tried this was when my good friend bought this from one local joint like that.
They specialize in preparing this edible worm delicacy although they use mostly the fresh large worms with the juicy contents intact with lots of pepper and onions. This is a thing in some parts of the globe. If you enjoy eating roundabout (intestine) or torzo, you’ll love this too

Peppered Edible Maggots With Scent Leaf
Ingredients:
• 1/4 cup Palm Oil
• 1 small onion – chopped
• 1 small fresh pepper – chopped
• 200g grilled edible larvae
• 1 tsp. Ehuru
• Salt to taste
• 1 cup scent leaves – chopped
• 1 cup scent leaves – chopped

Directions:::
Step 1: Pour the palm oil into an empty pan and leave to heat up for 2 minutes. Add the chopped onion and pepper, ehuru, salt and stir fry for 5 minutes.
Step 2: Add the grilled larvae and scent leaves. Stir to combine everything together then leave to simmer for 1 minute before turning off the burner.
Serve!
