Ginger is known to have lots of health benefits as documented below. One of the various ways of benefiting from the wondrous root is by taking it in as tea. Most times, i take my ginger tea with any powdered chocolate beverage i find around. Ginger tea has a spicy invigorating taste which is really soothing. Here are two easy recipes for you to try.
Step 2: Place the grated ginger in a small pot, add 2 cups of water. Heat for about 3-5mins. Sieve out the concentrate and transfer into a cup.
Step 3: Dilute with hot water to reduce the intense ginger taste, add some sugar and serve.

Thanks Dobby! You posted this just when i needed to make ginger tea but didn't know how to go about it. God bless you dear.
You're welcome Chichi.
For more than 25 years, I always sneeze a lot when I wake every morning which leads to running nose for at least 2 hours EVERY BLESSED MORNING.
I tried this tea with Milo 2 weeks ago and the next day, I sneezed just a little. I could not believe my eyes. I continued and after 2 days, I don't sneeze or blow my nose ANY MORE IN THE MORNING. I told my husband and we are eagerly waiting for our son in the boarding house to come back so we can try it as he has issues with cold too.
This is soooo beautiful. I just had to come back and share this as it might help someone else.
I just grate the ginger, cover with boiling water and soak for a few minutes. Strain with a sieve and add some Milo. Milo drink makes me sleepy but when I use it with this ginger drink, I don't feel sleepy at all.
Most people do not know the benefits of ginger and this would definitely help someone out there. Thanks a lot for this insightful feedback Gatsy Cakes.
