How’re y’all doing? Hope great! Here’s a quick sandwich you could make today if you do not want to spend time in the kitchen. Sandwiches are one of the quickest meals to prepare and this ham and cheese sandwich is not an exception as it can be prepared in just 10 minutes.
You can take it for breakfast with a hot beverage or even as a snack to curb those hunger pangs in between meals. This snack is also a perfect lunchbox meal for school kids.

Prep Time : 10 mins
Cook Time : Nil
Serves: 2
Ingredients:::
• 8 Wheat bread/ White Bread slices
• 8 thinly sliced Ham
• 4 Cheese slices
• 1 plum Tomato , thinly sliced
• 4 Lettuce leaves
•Butter/Margarine/Mayonnaise – As desired
Directions:::
Step 1: Take 2 slices of bread (you can cut off the bread crust if you choose to though i skipped that), apply butter/margarine/ mayonnaise on one side of the two slices.
Step 2: Place 1 lettuce leaf, a slice of cheese, 1 or 2 slices of tomatoes, 2 slices of ham on the buttered part of one slice and cover with the other buttered bread
Step 3: Repeat for the remaining slices, Stack ’em up and slice the whole pile in diagonally
Serve with tea, coffee or your favorite beverage for breakfast

Hi amaka, no i didn't toast the bread. For this, i used "Whole wheat bread" (light brown flour) and not the normal "wheat bread"(white flour/ all purpose flour)

Ham is smoked or salted meat from the upper part of a pigs leg.
